حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏"‏ لاَ يُقْتَلُ بِالْوَلَدِ الْوَالِدُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It was narrated from 'Amr bin Shu'aib, from his father, from his grandfather, that 'Umar bin Khattab said

“I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: 'A father should not be killed for his son.'”
