حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُسْتَمِرِّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحُرُّ بْنُ مَالِكٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُبَارَكُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ قَوَدَ إِلاَّ بِالسَّيْفِ " .

Ibrahim ibn al-Mustamir reported to us: al-Hurr ibn Malik al-Anbari reported to us: Mubarak ibn Fadalah reported to us, from al-Hasan, from Abu Bakrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and grant him peace) said, ‘There is no retaliation except with the sword.’
