Sunan Ibn Majah 2404
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ تَوْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَطْلُ الْغَنِيِّ ظُلْمٌ وَإِذَا أُحِلْتَ عَلَى مَلِيءٍ فَاتْبَعْهُ " .

Ismail ibn Tawbah narrated to us: Hushaym narrated to us, from Yunus ibn Ubayd, from Nafi, from Ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Delaying repayment by a person of means is wrongdoing. If you are referred to a solvent person, accept the referral.”

This parallel wording makes the recipient of the referral explicit as a solvent person; the English witness rendering as transfer of the debt is retained in the sense of accepting the referral.
