حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ طَلاَقُ السُّنَّةِ أَنْ يُطَلِّقَهَا طَاهِرًا مِنْ غَيْرِ جِمَاعٍ .

Muhammad ibn Bashshar narrated to us: Yahya ibn Saʿid narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Abu Ishaq, from Abu al-Ahwas, from ʿAbdullah, who said: ‘The Sunnah form of divorce is to divorce her when she is pure, without having had intercourse with her.’
