حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ أُمِرَتْ بَرِيرَةُ أَنْ تَعْتَدَّ، بِثَلاَثِ حِيَضٍ .

ʿAli ibn Muhammad narrated to us; Wakiʿ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Mansur, from Ibrahim, from al-Aswad, from ʿAʾishah, who said: Barirah was ordered to observe a waiting period of three menstrual cycles.
