Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us; Muhammad ibn Musʿab narrated to us, from al-Awzaʿi, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from Hilal ibn Abi Maymunah, from ʿAtaʾ ibn Yasar, from Rifaʿah al-Juhani, who said: When the Prophet (Allah bless him and grant him peace) swore an oath, he would say, ‘By the One in whose hand is Muhammad’s soul.’
