Sunan Ibn Majah 2114
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ وَكِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ الْمَعْمَرِيُّ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ هَمَّامٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ قَالَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " إِذَا اسْتَلَجَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الْيَمِينِ فَإِنَّهُ آثَمُ لَهُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنَ الْكَفَّارَةِ الَّتِي أُمِرَ بِهَا " . حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْوُحَاظِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ سَلاَّمٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ نَحْوَهُ .
Sufyan ibn Wakiʿ narrated to us; Muhammad ibn Humayd al-Maʿmari narrated to us, from Maʿmar, from Hammam, who said: I heard Abu Hurayrah say: Abu al-Qasim (Allah bless him and grant him peace) said, ‘If one of you persists in an oath, that is more sinful for him before Allah than the expiation he has been commanded to make.’ Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us; Yahya ibn Salih al-Wuhazi narrated to us; Muʿawiyah ibn Sallam narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from ʿIkrimah, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (Allah bless him and grant him peace), with a report like it.
