Hisham ibn ʿAmmar narrated to us; ʿIsa ibn Yunus narrated to us; al-Ajlakh al-Kindi narrated to us, from Yazid ibn al-Asamm, from Ibn ʿAbbas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: ‘When one of you swears an oath, do not say, “As Allah wills and you will.” Rather, say, “As Allah wills, then you will.”’
