Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ رَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " يَمِينُكَ عَلَى مَا يُصَدِّقُكَ بِهِ صَاحِبُكَ " .
Translation
ʿAmr ibn Rafiʿ narrated to us; Hushaym narrated to us; ʿAbdullah ibn Abi Salih informed us, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and grant him peace) said, ‘Your oath is according to what your counterpart accepts as truthful from you.’
