Translation

Ahmad ibn Yusuf narrated to us; ʿUbaydullah narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Abu al-Zinad, from al-Aʿraj, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: ‘A vow brings a son of Adam nothing except what has been decreed for him. Rather, destiny prevails, and through the vow something is drawn out of a miser, making easy for him what had not been easy for him before. Allah has said, “Spend, and I will spend on you.”’
