ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Ibrāhīm narrated to us: ʿAbd Allāh ibn Yazīd narrated to us: Ḥaywah narrated to us: Abū Hānī informed me that he heard Abū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Ḥubalī say that he heard ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAmr say: I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say: “Whenever an expedition sets out in the path of God and gains booty, they have hastened away two-thirds of their reward. If they gain no booty, their reward is completed for them.”
