حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ سَلْمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ النَّخَعِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ جَرِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَكْرَهُ الشِّكَالَ مِنَ الْخَيْلِ .

Abū Bakr ibn Abī Shaybah narrated to us: Wakīʿ narrated to us, from Sufyān, from Salm ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Nakhaʿī, from Abū Zurʿah ibn ʿAmr ibn Jarīr, from Abū Hurayrah, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, disliked horses with a leg marking that differed from the others.
