Bishr ibn Ādam and Aḥmad ibn Thābit al-Jaḥdarī narrated to us, both saying: Ṣafwān ibn ʿĪsā narrated to us: Muḥammad ibn ʿAjlān narrated to us, from al-Qaʿqāʿ ibn Ḥakīm, from Abū Ṣāliḥ, from Abū Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “No one is wounded in the path of God—and God knows best who is wounded in His path—but will come on the Day of Resurrection with his wound as it was on the day he was wounded: its color the color of blood, and its scent the scent of musk.”
