Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā narrated to us: ʿAbd al-Razzāq narrated to us: Sufyān informed us, from al-Aʿmash, from Ziyād ibn al-Ḥuṣayn, from Abū al-ʿĀliyah, from Ibn ʿAbbās, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, passed by a group practicing archery and said: “Shoot, children of Ismāʿīl, for your father was an archer.”
