Jaʿfar ibn Musāfir narrated to us: Abū al-Aswad narrated to us: Ibn Lahīʿah narrated to us, from Zabbān ibn Fāʾid, from Sahl ibn Muʿādh ibn Anas, from his father, from the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: “For me to accompany a fighter in the path of God and help him mount his riding animal in the morning or evening is dearer to me than the world and all it contains.”
