حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ رُومَانَ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " الْحَرْبُ خُدْعَةٌ " .

Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Numayr narrated to us: Yūnus ibn Bukayr narrated to us, from Muḥammad ibn Isḥāq, from Yazīd ibn Rūmān, from ʿUrwah, from ʿĀʾishah, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “War is deception.”
