حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنْ مَطَرِ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " الْحَرْبُ خُدْعَةٌ " .

Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Numayr narrated to us: Yūnus ibn Bukayr narrated to us, from Maṭar ibn Maymūn, from ʿIkrimah, from Ibn ʿAbbās, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “War is deception.”
