حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ كَثِيرِ بْنِ أَفْلَحَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ، مَوْلَى أَبِي قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَفَّلَهُ سَلَبَ قَتِيلٍ قَتَلَهُ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ .

Muḥammad ibn al-Ṣabbāḥ narrated to us: Sufyān ibn ʿUyaynah informed us, from Yaḥyā ibn Saʿīd, from ʿUmar ibn Kathīr ibn Aflah, from Abū Muḥammad, the client of Abū Qatādah, from Abū Qatādah, that the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, granted him the belongings of a man he had killed on the day of Ḥunayn.
