ʿAlī ibn Muḥammad narrated to us: ʿAbd Allāh ibn Numayr narrated to us, from ʿUbayd Allāh, from Nāfiʿ, from Ibn ʿUmar, who said: One of his horses ran away and was taken by the enemy. The Muslims overcame them during the time of the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, and the horse was returned to him. He said: One of his slaves also fled and joined the Byzantines. The Muslims overcame them, and Khālid ibn al-Walīd returned the slave to him after the Messenger of God had died.
