حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ الزُّرَقِيِّ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلاَّمٍ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَفَّلَ فِي الْبَدْأَةِ الرُّبُعَ وَفِي الرَّجْعَةِ الثُّلُثَ .

ʿAlī ibn Muḥammad narrated to us: Wakīʿ narrated to us, from Sufyān, from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn al-Ḥārith al-Zuraqī, from Sulaymān ibn Mūsā, from Makḥūl, from Abū Sallām al-Aʿraj, from Abū Umāmah, from ʿUbādah ibn al-Ṣāmit, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, granted a quarter share on the initial expedition and a third on the return.
