Division of spoils of war Sunan Ibn Majah 2854
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلمأَسْهَمَ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ لِلْفَارِسِ ثَلاَثَةَ أَسْهُمٍ لِلْفَرَسِ سَهْمَانِ وَلِلرَّجُلِ سَهْمٌ .
Translation
It wasnarrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Prophet (ﷺ) distributed thewarspoils on the Day of Khaibar, giving three shares to the horseman,two shares for the horse, and one share for the man.
