Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي الْحَكَمِ، - مَوْلَى بَنِي لَيْثٍ - عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ سَبَقَ إِلاَّ فِي خُفٍّ أَوْ حَافِرٍ "
Translation
It wasnarrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)said
“There should be no prizes for racing except races with camelsandhorses.”
