Going in response to a general call to arms Sunan Ibn Majah 2775
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ شَبِيبٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنْ رَاحَ رَوْحَةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كَانَ لَهُ بِمِثْلِ مَا أَصَابَهُ مِنَ الْغُبَارِ مِسْكًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ "
Translation
It wasnarrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)said
“Whoever goes out in the cause of Allah will have the equivalentofthe dust that got on him, in musk, on the Day of Resurrection.”
