Prohibition of Shighar Sunan Ibn Majah 1885
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَنْبَأَنَاَ مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " لاَ شِغَارَ فِي الإِسْلاَمِ "
Translation
It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that
the Messenger of Allah said: “There is no Shighar in Islam.”
