Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ، عَنْ أَبِي رُهْمٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " مِنْ أَفْضَلِ الشَّفَاعَةِ أَنْ يُشَفَّعَ بَيْنَ الاِثْنَيْنِ فِي النِّكَاحِ "
Translation
It was narrated that Abu Ruhm said
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'One of the best kinds of intercession is interceding between two people concerning marriage."'
