The Prohibition Of Withholding Surplus Water From Common Pastureland Sunan Ibn Majah 2479

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ حَارِثَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ يُمْنَعُ فَضْلُ الْمَاءِ وَلاَ يُمْنَعُ نَقْعُ الْبِئْرِ "
Translation
It was narrated from Aishah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said
“Surplus water should not be withheld, and neither should surplus water from a well.
