Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us: Waki narrated to us, from Zakariyya, from al-Shabi, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “A riding animal may be ridden when it is pledged, and a milk-bearing animal may be milked when it is pledged. The person who rides or drinks its milk must provide for its upkeep.”
