Sunan Ibn Majah 2456
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّهُ لَمَّا سَمِعَ إِكْثَارَ النَّاسِ، فِي كِرَاءِ الأَرْضِ قَالَ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ إِنَّمَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَلاَ مَنَحَهَا أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ " . وَلَمْ يَنْهَ عَنْ كِرَائِهَا .
Muhammad ibn Rumh narrated to us: al-Layth ibn Sad informed us, from Abd al-Malik ibn Abd al-Aziz ibn Jurayj, from Amr ibn Dinar, from Tawus, from Ibn Abbas, who heard that people were increasingly leasing out land. He said: Glory be to Allah! The Messenger of Allah ﷺ only said that one of you should grant its use to his brother; he did not forbid leasing it out.
