Abu Marwan Muhammad ibn Uthman al-Uthmani narrated to us; Abd al-Aziz ibn Abi Hazim narrated to us, from al-Ala ibn Abd al-Rahman, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: ‘Camels from which the due right has not been given will come and trample their owner with their hooves. Cattle and sheep will come and trample their owner with their hooves and butt him with their horns. And the hoarded treasure will come as a bald serpent and meet its owner on the Day of Resurrection. Its owner will flee from it twice, then turn to face it, but he will flee again. He will say, “What have I to do with you?” It will say, “I am your treasure; I am your treasure.” He will try to ward it off with his hand, but it will swallow his hand.’
