Al-Husayn ibn Junayd al-Damagani narrated to us; Attab ibn Ziyad al-Marwazi narrated to us; Abu Hamzah narrated to us, saying: I heard Mughirah al-Azdi relate from Muhammad ibn Zayd, from Hayyan al-A‘raj, from al-Ala ibn al-Hadrami, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent me to Bahrain—or to Hajar. I would come to an orchard shared between brothers, one of whom had become Muslim, and take one-tenth from the Muslim and kharaj from the polytheist.
