Sunan Ibn Majah 1796
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى، يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ إِذَا أَتَاهُ الرَّجُلُ بِصَدَقَةِ مَالِهِ صَلَّى عَلَيْهِ فَأَتَيْتُهُ بِصَدَقَةِ مَالِي فَقَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى آلِ أَبِي أَوْفَى " .

Ali ibn Muhammad narrated to us; Waki‘ narrated to us, from Shu‘bah, from Amr ibn Murrah, who said: I heard Abdullah ibn Abi Awfa say: When a man brought the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) the charity due on his wealth, he would invoke blessings upon him. I brought him the charity due on my wealth, and he said: ‘O Allah, bless the family of Abu Awfa.’
