حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏"‏ مَنِ انْتَهَبَ نُهْبَةً مَشْهُورَةً فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)said

“The adulterer, at the time he is committing adultery, is notabeliever; (the wine drinker) at the time he is drinking, is not abeliever; the thief, at the time he is stealing, is not a believer;the plunderer, at the time he is plundering with the people lookingon, is not a believer.”
