Al-Hasan ibn ‘Arafah narrated to us; ‘Ammar ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from al-A‘mash, from Abu Salih, from Abu Sa‘id al-Khudri, who said that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The Hour will not come until you fight a people with small eyes and broad faces, whose eyes are like locusts’ pupils and whose faces are like hammered shields. They wear footwear made of hair, use shields, and tether their horses to palm trees.”
