Sunan Ibn Majah 4158
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي عُمَرَ الْعَدَنِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَاطِبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ {ثُمَّ لَتُسْأَلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ النَّعِيمِ} قَالَ الزُّبَيْرُ وَأَىُّ نَعِيمٍ نُسْأَلُ عَنْهُ وَإِنَّمَا هُوَ الأَسْوَدَانِ التَّمْرُ وَالْمَاءُ . قَالَ " أَمَا إِنَّهُ سَيَكُونُ " .
Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Abi ‘Umar al-‘Adani narrated to us; Sufyan ibn ‘Uyaynah narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn ‘Amr, from Yahya ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Hatib, from ‘Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr ibn al-‘Awwam, from his father, who said: When the verse ‘Then, on that Day, you will surely be asked about the blessings’ was revealed, al-Zubayr said: “What blessings will we be asked about? We have only the two dark things—dates and water.” He said: “Indeed, that will come.”
