Sunan Ibn Majah 4195
حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ دِينَارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو رَجَاءٍ الْخُرَاسَانِيُّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فِي جِنَازَةٍ فَجَلَسَ عَلَى شَفِيرِ الْقَبْرِ فَبَكَى حَتَّى بَلَّ الثَّرَى ثُمَّ قَالَ " يَا إِخْوَانِي لِمِثْلِ هَذَا فَأَعِدُّوا " .
Al-Qasim ibn Zakariyya ibn Dinar narrated to us; Ishaq ibn Mansur narrated to us; Abu Raja’ al-Khurasani narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Malik, from al-Bara’, who said: We were with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) at a funeral. He sat at the edge of a grave and wept until the soil became wet. Then he said: “My brothers, prepare yourselves for something like this.”
