حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَرْوَانَ الْعُثْمَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنِ الْعَلاَءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ ‏"‏ قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَنَا أَغْنَى الشُّرَكَاءِ عَنِ الشِّرْكِ فَمَنْ عَمِلَ لِي عَمَلاً أَشْرَكَ فِيهِ غَيْرِي فَأَنَا مِنْهُ بَرِيءٌ وَهُوَ لِلَّذِي أَشْرَكَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It wasnarrated from Abu Sa’d bin Abu Fadalah Al-Ansari, who was oneofthe Companions, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said

“When Allahassembles the first and the last on the Day of Resurrection, a dayconcerning which there is no doubt, a caller will cry out: ‘Whoeverused to associate anyone else in an action that he did for Allah, lethim seek his reward from someone other than Allah, for Allah is soself-sufficient that He has no need of any associate.’”
