حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ : " أَكْثِرُوا ذِكْرَ هَاذِمِ اللَّذَّاتِ " . يَعْنِي الْمَوْتَ .
Translation
It wasnarrated from Abu Ya’la Shaddad bin Aws that the Messenger ofAllah(ﷺ) said
“The wise man is the one who takes account ofhimselfand strives for that which is after death. And the helplessman isthe one who follows his own whims then indulges in wishfulthinkingabout Allah.”
