Translation

Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us: Abdullah ibn Idris narrated to us, from al-Amash, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The Fire complained to its Lord, saying: My parts are consuming one another. So He gave it two breaths, one in winter and one in summer. The intense cold you experience is from its bitter cold, and the intense heat you experience is from its scorching wind.
