Sunan Ibn Majah 4329
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " لَشِبْرٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الأَرْضِ وَمَا عَلَيْهَا - الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا .
Translation
Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us: Abu Muawiyah narrated to us, from Hajjaj, from Atiyyah, from Abu Said al-Khudri, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: A handspan in Paradise is better than the earth and all that is on it—this world and all that it contains.
