Sunan Ibn Majah 4121
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْجُبَيْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ عِيسَى، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُبَيْدَةَ، أَخْبَرَنِي الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ عَبْدَهُ الْمُؤْمِنَ الْفَقِيرَ الْمُتَعَفِّفَ أَبَا الْعِيَالِ " .
Translation
‘Ubaydullah ibn Yusuf al-Jubayri narrated to us; Hammad ibn ‘Isa narrated to us; Musa ibn ‘Ubaydah narrated to us; al-Qasim ibn Mihran informed me, from ‘Imran ibn Husayn, who said that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Allah loves His believing servant who is poor, self-restrained from begging, and responsible for a family.”
