Sunan Ibn Majah 4122
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " يَدْخُلُ فُقَرَاءُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الْجَنَّةَ قَبْلَ الأَغْنِيَاءِ بِنِصْفِ يَوْمٍ خَمْسِمِائَةِ عَامٍ " .
Translation
Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us; Muhammad ibn Bishr narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn ‘Amr, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The poor among the believers will enter Paradise half a day—five hundred years—before the rich.”
