Sunan Ibn Majah 4131
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلاَنَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " الأَكْثَرُونَ هُمُ الأَسْفَلُونَ إِلاَّ مَنْ قَالَ هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا " . ثَلاَثًا .
Translation
Yahya ibn Hakim narrated to us; Yahya ibn Sa‘id al-Qattan narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn ‘Ajlan, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, who said that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Those who amass the most will be the lowest, except one who gives in such-and-such ways”—three times.
