Muwatta Malik
Book 25, Hadith 2
Arabic hadith text
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ الْقَاسِمَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ، كَانَ يَكْرَهُ مَا قَتَلَ الْمِعْرَاضُ وَالْبُنْدُقَةُ .
Translation
Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that al-Qasimibn Muhammad disapproved of eating game that had been killed withthrowing sticks and by clay pellets.
