وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا يَحِلُّ سَلَفٌ وَبَيْعٌ وَلَا شَرْطَانِ فِي بَيْعٍ وَلَا رِبْحُ مَا لَمْ يضمن وَلَا بيع مَا لَيْسَ عِنْدَكَ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالنَّسَائِيُّ وَقَالَ التِّرْمِذِيُّ: هَذَا صَحِيح

‘Amr ibn Shu‘ayb also reported from his father, from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) said: ‘A loan combined with a sale is not lawful; nor are two conditions in a sale, profit from what one has not taken responsibility for, or selling what one does not possess.’ Al-Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, and al-Nasa’i transmitted it. Al-Tirmidhi said: ‘This is sahih.’ Its listed grading is hasan (al-Albani).
