عَنْ وَاثِلَةَ بْنِ الْأَسْقَعِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسلم يَقُول: «من بَاعَ عَيْبا لَمْ يُنَبِّهْ لَمْ يَزَلْ فِي مَقْتِ اللَّهِ أَوْ لَمْ تَزَلِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تَلْعَنُهُ» . رَوَاهُ ابْنُ مَاجَه

Wathilah ibn al-Asqa‘ reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) say: ‘Whoever sells a defective item without drawing attention to the defect will remain under Allah’s displeasure—or the angels will continue to curse him.’ Ibn Majah transmitted it. Its listed grading has not been studied (al-Albani).
