وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَن بيع الْوَلَاء وَعَن هِبته
Translation

‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Umar reported that the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) forbade selling the wala’ (right of patronage after emancipation) or giving it as a gift. It is agreed upon. Its listed grading is agreed upon (al-Albani).
