عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ أَسْلَفَ فِي شَيْءٍ فَلَا يَصْرِفْهُ إِلَى غَيْرِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقْبِضَهُ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ
Translation

Abu Sa‘id al-Khudri reported that the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) said: ‘Whoever pays in advance for something must not exchange it for something else before taking possession of it.’ Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah transmitted it. Its listed grading has not been studied (al-Albani).
