وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَنْ أَنْظَرَ مُعْسِرًا أَوْ وَضَعَ عَنْهُ أَنْجَاهُ اللَّهُ مِنْ كُرَبِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَة» . رَوَاهُ مُسلم
Translation

Abu Qatadah reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) say: ‘Whoever gives respite to someone in hardship or remits his debt, Allah will save him from the distresses of the Day of Resurrection.’ Muslim transmitted it. Its listed grading is sahih (al-Albani).
