وَعَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «أَدِّ الْأَمَانَةَ إِلَى مَنِ ائْتَمَنَكَ وَلَا تَخُنْ مَنْ خَانَكَ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالدَّارِمِيُّ
Translation

‘Amr ibn Shu‘ayb reported from his father, from his grandfather, that the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said: ‘Return the trust to the one who entrusted you, and do not betray the one who betrayed you.’ Al-Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, and al-Darimi transmitted it. Its listed grading is sahih (al-Albani).
