Sa‘id ibn Zayd reported that the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said: ‘Whoever revives dead land, it belongs to him; an unjustly planted root has no right.’ Ahmad, al-Tirmidhi, and Abu Dawud transmitted it. Malik transmitted it from ‘Urwah as a mursal report. Al-Tirmidhi said: ‘This is a hasan gharib hadith.’ The listed gradings are sahih and not studied (al-Albani).
